CPO, CSL, and NESDIS representatives joined US and international partners at a meeting hosted by the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) from May 1-5, 2023 to facilitate the coordination and long-term planning of air quality observations over North America from Geostationary Earth Orbit, including planning for NOAA’s GeoXO Atmospheric Composition Instrument (ACX).

NASA’s successful launch of the TEMPO mission will provide important risk reduction for the atmospheric chemistry observing capabilities of NOAA’s ACX instrument on the GeoXO mission.

In March (and the beginning of April) 2023, CPO held an interview campaign that highlighted seven CPO staff scientists and CPO-funded scientists for Women’s History Month.
