Development of the Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4) is underway, and on behalf of the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), NOAA is soliciting nominations for authors and technical inputs.

CPO's Juli Trtanj was a lead author for the water-related illnesses chapter of the USGCRP's: The Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health in the United States: A Scientific Assessment.

Melissa Kenney, a University of Maryland researcher, has been named Sigma Xi’s 2015 national Young Investigator Award Winner.

The USGCRP indicator effort, which NOAA significantly supported through a CICS grant, announced a pilot indicator release on May 6.
