Dr. Jin Huang is a program manager of Climate Prediction Program for the
Americas (CPPA). She received her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science in 1991 from
University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Her expertise is in the area of land
surface modeling, climate prediction and water resource application. She worked as
a senior research scientist at Climate Prediction Center (CPC), NOAA during 1991-2000.
Her past research includes development of climate forecast methodologies, understanding
of land surface effects on climate predictability, land surface model development and
paleoclimate study.

Annarita Mariotti is an Associate Program Manager for the Climate Prediction Program for the Americas (CPPA) and a part-time Assist. Research Scientist at the Univ. of Maryland. She received her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences in 1997
from University of Paris, "Pierre et Marie Curie". Her past research includes stratospheric dynamics modeling, large-scale climate variability studies and analyses of the water cycle.
